My Go To Drink Besides Water

You know what’s soo funny!? I was thinking, as a kid growing up in the islands my mom use to make me eat and drink some stuff that I hated..some even to the point where I wanted to vomit. Coconut was one of them. Funny thing is that it’s been used to help with suffers from upset stomach, reducing pain and vomiting.
But as I’ve gotten older, and studied health, fitness and nutrition I realized that she knew exactly what she doing.

Lately I’ve become addicted to ZICO coconut water. I’ve been drinking it a few times a week. I’ve tried other brands before but ZICO just has this fresh, clean,…amazing taste to it. They even come in different far I’ve stuck with reg/original flavor. And for me, the colder it is, the better it taste.

Coconut water comes from coconuts which is a hard shell fruit from a palm tree.Coconut water has some huge benefits to it. It’s especially good for drinking after you workout cause its loaded with electrolytes, more than sports drinks. It’s also high in potassium, protein and fiber and it helps raises your metabolism, which in turn promotes weight loss. There’s also vit B and C in coconut water which helps with repairing cells and tissues, and protecting the body from scurvy.

It’s been said that drinking coconut water makes you have a strong immune system, plus it has more nutrients than whole milk and helps with reducing your blood pressure. The benefits are just uncountable. As far as I can tell you can’t loose from drinking it.
